UIGEA Regulations enforcement delayed
The enforcement of the banking rules and regulations that were supposed to control the transfer of money to online gambling sites and were due to be effected on the 1st December this year, have been delayed.
The next proposed date for the enforcement of these regulations is the 1st June, 2010.
Not least among the bodies opposing this new legislation are the banks themselves, who claim that the rules are simply not enforceable in any effective fashion.
